El flamenco nace en el siglo XVIII en Andalucía como forma de expresión reservada a los momentos más intensos de celebración de la vida. Gran Gala Flamenco conducirá al espectador en un alternase de sensaciones, ritmos y movimientos que definen esta forma de arte declarada por la UNESCO en el año 2010 como “Patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la humanidad”. Viajando por los diferentes “palos” (ritmos: Fandango, Seguidilla, Alegría, Bulería, Tarantos, Guajira…) será posible descubrir la intensidad de la pasión del pueblo gitano a través del tiempo. Con la participación de artistas que forman parte de la nueva generación catalana de flamencos que están irrumpiendo con fuerza en el panorama artístico nacional, se ofrece la unión perfecta de fuerza, música, alma y danza en todos sus aspectos, que desde siempre caracteriza el corazón de la tradición española.

Es un palo música alegre y vivaz, se caracteriza por su dinamismo, desenvoltura y gracia.

Es uno de los pilares del flamenco por su solemnidad a la hora de interpretarlo; el sentimiento pasa a un primer plano.

Es un baile de pareja con giros propios de los bailes de galanteo.
